School of Education

The Center for Educator Preparation is committed to providing quality education and experiences for tomorrow’s leaders in education. As a Professional Development School (PDS), our partnership with school districts around the state is of utmost importance. We believe in giving back to the schools as much as they give to us. We work with master teachers and leaders to mentor our students so that they can become leaders and ambassadors for our profession and carry out our mission of the preservation of our democratic society.

Every year, more than 300 students complete our programs to earn teaching licenses, and over 50 complete requirements to become principals and leaders in our schools. Many of these teachers and principals are leaders in Colorado schools. Because of our belief in partnerships, we love to stay connected with our graduates, not only to see how they are making a difference for kids, but also to draw from their knowledge and expertise. We hope you will stay connected with us, not only as partners in education, but as a contributor to our program’s advancement. Please browse the links at the right for more information and feel free to contact us if you would like to include our students in your school community.
